Like an expensive perfume that dilutes its aroma in the open air, for too long, Rioja has had large vineyards producing generic wines that masked a richness that speaks for itself. And with his work, Javier Peciña sought to make up for that loss, to lift the estates that had seen him grow out of the anonymity of bulk wines, to offer them a platform to assert themselves.
