FECO / The vineyard
San Juan
San Juan shows that a plot's value is not determined by age alone. Planted with white Tempranillo in 2014, it was one of the vineyards, alongside Hornillo, that inspired the start of FECO.
Vinifying its grapes separately made it possible to explore a variety native to Rioja without blending its expression with other plots. Growing on eluvial clay-limestone soil, San Juan represents another side of the project: preserving what has been passed down while discovering new possibilities within the same region.

The wine from this vineyard
FECO San Juan
San Juan changes what you expect from a Rioja white. Its elegant, unusual aromas spark curiosity; its body, structure and time in oak make it a wine for the table.
It is a food-loving white: for a carefully prepared dish, fish with a sauce or a meal where the wine has a place of its own. Better to discover it gradually than try to explain it all at once.
Bottle size: 0.75 L bottle.
