In 1960, 1,700 red Tempranillo vines were planted in clayey-limestone soil at an altitude of 530 meters, at the foot of the majestic Sierra Cantabria. The bush-cultivated vineyard has been carefully maintained for decades and today produces excellent quality grapes that are used to make the purest wines possible.
After a careful manual harvest, the grapes were transported in crates to the winery, where alcoholic fermentation took place. The wine was then aged for eight months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Cherry red visual phase with a medium-high layer.
On the nose, aromas of red fruits combine with spices from the aging process.
In the mouth, round, voluminous, medium-high persistence and a floral aftertaste.
