100% white Tempranillo.
Vintage 2023.
At an altitude of 485 meters, this small plot of white Tempranillo has been meticulously cultivated on a clayey-calcareous soil. This soil is characterized by its abundance of stones, which gives this plot a remarkable uniqueness. The calcareous composition of the soil gives the grapes vibrant acidity and surprising minerality, while the presence of stones allows for excellent humidity regulation.
To make this wine, an early harvest was chosen. Once the grapes were received at the winery in crates, they were placed in a stainless steel tank, where carbonic maceration took place for 7 days. After this week, the grapes were manually pressed, and the resulting wine remained in contact with its lees in French oak barrels for 8 months.
Tasting notes.
Visual phase golden yellow.
On the nose, aromas of tropical fruit, with citrus notes and floral touches.
Pleasant in the mouth, complex and with a medium-high persistence.
